Species at risk! Have you seen them?

Protection of at-risk species is in good hands with an active group of conservation organizations and agencies that are working together along the 4,500 kilometres of shoreline on the Trent-Severn Waterway between Port Severn on Georgian Bay and Trenton on Lake Ontario.

As part of this initiative, collector cards have been created that provide photos and information on each of the 35 species at risk that can be found throughout the Watershed.

These cards can be collected only by visiting Lock Stations along the Trent-Severn Waterway by boat or by road.

To learn which species are available at each Lock Station location, visit the Waterway Wildlife website at www.waterwaywildlife.com.

Visit the Lock Stations and collect them all! Watch for these species, and let us know when and where you see them.

The website will tell you how.
