Drug charges in North Kawartha
The OPP Central Drug Enforcement members executed a Drug Search Warrant at a residence on Provincial Highway 28 in North Kawartha Township on June 28.
Inside the residence officers located an indoor marihuana grow operation in the basement of the home.
Officers seized 262 marihuana plants of various sizes, 1,162 grams of marihuana bud, 896 grams of marihuana shake and marihuana grow equipment.
Charged with Possession of Cannabis Marihuana for the Purpose to Traffic and Production of Cannabis Marihuana is Robert Rock, 44, of North Kawartha Township.
Rock was released on an Appearance Notice with court set for July 23. Police estimate the value of drugs seized at $89,238.
