by Anita Locke

The 17th annual Apsley Autumn Studio Tour takes place Saturday and Sunday, September 18 and 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

The tour is renowned for the quality of artists working in a variety of disciplines including painting, drawing, stone, sculpture, stained glass, pottery, handblown glass, mixed media, metal work, jewellery, fabric art, silk paintings, visual art and wood carving.

From the molten heat of the glass furnaces to the cool, smooth feel of carved stone and all points in between, the self-guided tour is a wonderful opportunity to meet the artists in person.
