Lady curlers score big
Lakefield lady curlers have been busy participating in Bonspiels this season.
Two teams were in Marmora on January 23 and each brought home a trophy.
First draw for the K.M. Construction Trophy was won by Skip - Helen O’Donnell, Vice - Jane Gilhuly, Second - Lois Cole, and Lead - Jan Dutcher.
Second draw for the Queen Bee Trophy was won by Skip - Ferne Sage, Vice - Tracy Klompmaker, Second - Linda Murney and Lead - Barb McKee.
On February 6 our ladies travelled to West Northumberland Curling Club (Cobourg) and came home with the Trophy and Second place.
Trophy winners were: Skip - Linda Parcels, Vice - Ferne Sage, Second - Linda Murney and Lead - Jan Dutcher.
Second winners were: Skip - Helen O’Donnell, Vice - Jane Gilhuly, Second - Lois Cole and Lead - Barb McKee. Congratulations to all. Well done Ladies!
