Low re-elected as chair of Otonabee Conservation for 2013
Terry Low, Citizen Appointee for the Township of Asphodel-Norwood was re-elected Chair of the Board of Directors of the Otonabee Region Conservation Authority for 2013.
The Board elected Low to the office of Chair at the Annual Meeting of the Conservation Authority held Thursday evening, February 21.
Sherry Senis, Councillor with the Municipality of Selwyn, was re-elected to her fifth term as Vice-Chair of the Conservation Authority.
Chair Low is pleased to announce the following municipal appointments to the Board of Directors for 2013, all of whom are returning to the Conservation Authority Board:
Township of Cavan-Monaghan, Scott McFadden (Deputy-Mayor); Township of Douro-Dummer, Karl Moher (Deputy-Mayor); Township of Selwyn, Andy Mitchell (Deputy-Mayor), Sherry Senis (Councillor); Municipality of Trent Hills Bob Crate (Councillor); Township of Otonabee-South Monaghan, David Nelson (Reeve); City of Kawartha Lakes Heather Stauble (Councillor); City of Peterborough Daryl Bennett (Mayor), Jack Doris (Councillor), Bob Hall (Councillor) .
In 2013, the Board of Directors will meet the third Thursday of every month, unless otherwise notified. Members of the watershed community are invited to attend the meetings of the Board.
Meetings begin at 5:00 p.m. and are held at the Otonabee Conservation Centre, located at 250 Milroy Drive, Peterborough. The meeting agenda is available on the Authority website [www.otonabee.com] in advance of the meeting.
