Learn all about Hostas
The Lakefield Horticultural Society is pleased to announce the speaker for their next meeting.
Dawn Golloher (Tack) will speak on The Fabulous World of Hostas Tuesday, March 12, 7:30 p.m. at the Marshland Centre in Lakefield.
Dawn is the owner of Gardens Plus in Donwood. She will share some tips for growing and combining some of her favourite classic Hosta to the cutting edge newest Hostas in her collection.
For anyone who has a shady garden, Hostas are the plant for you! Get the jump on spring and be inspired by the always energetic Dawn!
The collection on display these days at Gardens Plus is approximately 500 different varieties. Recently she added a Memory Garden as well. Certainly worth a trip to Donwood. Visit www.gardensplus.ca for up to date info. Gardens Plus is also on Facebook.
Lakefield Horticultural Society meetings are held monthly at the Marshland Centre, on Hague Point in Lakefield.
