McCrimmon tours the area

Karen McCrimmon toured the Savage Arms Lakefield plant Tuesday March 12. McCrimmon is running for the leadership of the Liberal Party of Canada.
McCrimmon says “We are becoming a divided country...East and West, Urban and Rural...We need to find a common ground,” and also says “we need to think of security differently.” This would include things like water, food and job security.
McCrimmon toured the area with stops including visiting the President of Trent University, Curve Lake First Nation. McCrimmon also said “I think sometimes the rural ridings aren’t getting their voices heard.”
