Buckhorn Harvest Craft Show next weekend
The Buckhorn Harvest Craft Show takes place at the Buckhorn Community Centre Thanksgiving weekend, Oct. 12-14.
The outstanding quality and variety of the items on display make a visit to it a must. With only 10 weeks left until Christmas, the Harvest Craft Show is the place to start your Christmas shopping.
The Craft Show is pleased to welcome approximately 100 artisans from all areas of Ontario and Quebec featuring the very best selection of Canadian handcrafted Seasonal, Country, Traditional and Contemporary Crafts.
Among the many items that will be on display are candles, pottery, leather goods, handmade brooms and whisks, gourmet foods, furniture, florals, wooden toys, stuffed bears and dolls, children’s clothing, jewellery, designer clothing for the entire family, handmade soaps, hand painted glass and a wide variety of home décor items. Also featured, will be items for seasonal decorating at Halloween or Christmas
Show hours are Saturday, Oct. 12, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Sunday, Oct. 13, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.; and Monday, Oct. 14, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. General Admission is $5. Children 12 and under – Free.
Your admission ticket gives you the opportunity to win a $100 Shopping Spree at the Buckhorn 2014 Spring Craft Show. Make sure you place your ticket in one of the boxes at the show.
The entire show is wheelchair accessible and there is ample free parking available. A shuttle bus runs continuously from the upper parking lot to the show. The entire show is under cover, so regardless of the weather, you can browse in comfort. Refreshments are available.
A good time to visit would be while you and your guests are waiting for the turkey to cook.
