Chiefs in first place tie

The Lakefield Fitzsimmons Towing and Repair Chiefs jumped into a first place tie in the league this past week winning all three games they played. On Tuesday, October 15 the Chiefs beat up on the Uxbridge Bruins 11-2 at home.
The Chiefs then travelled to Little Britain on Saturday, October 19 and came away with a 6-5 win over the Merchants on Eric Oostings shoot-out goal. The Chiefs went down 4-0 before mounting the comeback.
Scoring were Keenan Runnalls, Conner Blair, Travis Brault, Derek Manley and Dan Gilbert. Assists went to Nathan Larson and Jessie Gregory with 2, and Eric Oosting and Conner Blair with 1 each. Kevin Collins picked up the win in net.
They then completed a perfect 3 for 3 week on Sunday, October 20 where they beat the Mojacks 3-1 in Port Perry. Derek Manley, Sean Mackie and Eric Oosting had a goal each with Conner Blair picking up 2 assists and singles going to Jordan Walsh, Ryan Saunders, Dan Gilbert and Eric Shewell. Zac Wainman picked up his second win of the week in net.
The Chiefs now sit tied on top of the League with the Uxbridge Bruins, their next game is Tuesday, October 29 at 7:30 in Lakefield.
