Lakefield man arrested for obstructing police
A Lakefield man was among two arrested following a traffic stop in Peterborough Monday.
The female accused is currently bound by a probation order with a condition not to communicate or associate with the male accused.
On Monday, Feb. 3, 2014 at approximately 3:25 p.m. a Peterborough Lakefield Community Police officer located a suspicious vehicle in the Market Plaza parking lot.
The officer attended the vehicle and spoke with the occupants. The male accused gave a false name to the officer. The officer was able to properly identify the male.
As a result of the investigation, Marissa Katy Mae Peplinski, 24, of Harwood, was arrested and charged with breach of probation. Stephen Craig Thode, 32, of Lakefield was arrested and charged with obstructing a peace officer.
Both were held in custody and appeared in court Tuesday.
