Chiefs edge Mojacks 4-3

The Lakefield Fitzsimmons Towing and Repair Chiefs beat the Port Perry Mojacks 4-3 Tuesday setting the stage between these two teams for the first round of the playoffs.
Scoring all four goals, two shorthanded, for the Chiefs was Captain Nathan Larson.
Picking up assists were Travis Brault with two, Eric Oosting and Jordan Walsh.
Kevin Collins got the win in net. The Chiefs will travel to Uxbridge on Friday to take on the Bruins.
The Chiefs locked up first place Thursday night (Jan. 30) defeating the second place Clarington Eagles for the third time in three straight games 6-4.
League leading scorer Derek Manley led the Chiefs with two goals and two assists, Travis Brault had two goals and an assist, Jordan Walsh had a goal and assist, and rounding out the scoring in his first game as a Chief Bryce Sweeting. Assists also went to Eric Oosting and Nathan Larson with two each, Ryan Anderson, Brett Thomson and Keenan Runnalls,
Zac Wainman picked up his 19th win of the season in net.
