LCS teams in hockey playoffs

The Lakefield College School (LCS) Varsity boys hockey team wound up on the wrong side of a 4-2 score when the team hosted De La Salle for the final game of the regular season in CISSAA Hockey Division two Monday.

Mark Price and Max Kislinger scored for Lakefield College, with assists to Jamie Murray and Dan Zahradnik.

LCS was in action Wednesday to kick-off their first round playoff series, however results were unavailable at press time.

The LCS 1st girls hockey team faced first-place De La Salle College (Toronto) in a rematch of last week’s game, when the girls in red and green fell 4-0. This time around they skated to a 1-1 tie.

Scoring for LCS was Jenna Vander Velden. Strong plays were shown from Laura Blair, Kailey Beckwith and Vander Velden.

Lakefield Colege hosted Branksome Hall (Toronto) at the Lakefield-Smith Community Centre Wednesday in a one-game quarter-final playoff game but results were unavailable at press time.
