Bridgenorth library branch celebrates 5th anniversary
The Bridgenorth branch of the Selwyn Public Library is gearing up to celebrate a milestone.
On Thursday, March 27, the Library will celebrate the fifth Anniversary of the new Bridgenorth Library Branch.
An open house will be held between 2-4 p.m., where refreshments will be served and demonstrations of the branch’s new Kobo Arc eReaders will take place.
In addition, the branch will be giving out a free gift to all who attend, and offering a chance to enter a draw to win brunch for two courtesy of Chemong Lodge.
Interested parties can enter the draw by doing one of the following during library hours on March 27. They can like the branch on Facebook, visit any of the Selwyn Public Library branches and borrow an item, sign up for the new email newsletter, or get a Selwyn Library card.
On Saturday, April 5, the Bridgenorth branch will also be hosting an opening event for a photographic exhibit as part of the SPARK Photo Festival.
The exhibit is titled “Four at Bridgenorth” and features the work of Garry Barker, Steve Brittain, Ralph Colley, and Jennie Versteeg. The event takes place from 1-3 p.m. at the Bridgenorth branch and the exhibit will remain in place throughout the month of April for the duration of the festival.
