John Good honoured for efforts by Otonabee Conservation Foundation

At the 46th Annual Meeting of the Otonabee Conservation Foundation (OCF), the Directors and guests recognized John Good for 20 years of service to the environmental charity.

John was first elected a Director of the OCF in 2004 and served as President from 2006-2011, and held the office of Treasurer during the past year.

John actively supported the annual Trees Project, the capital improvements to the Warsaw Caves Conservation Area and Campground, the acquisition of conservation lands in Young’s Point, and fundraising campaigns in support of stream stewardship activities involving local students and volunteers.

In addition to his contribution to the OCF over the past 20 years, John Good was also the municipal representative for the Township of Douro-Dummer on the Board of Directors of Otonabee Conservation from 2004 to 2010.

The 46th Annual Meeting of the Otonabee Conservation Foundation was held Monday evening, May 5 at the Otonabee Conservation Centre in Peterborough.
