Buckhorn Craft Show to be held Victoria Day Weekend

This year’s 33rd Annual Buckhorn Spring Show will be held on Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18 at the Buckhorn Community Centre.

The Craft Show is pleased to welcome approximately 110 artisans from all areas of Ontario, featuring the very best selection of Canadian handcrafted Seasonal, Country, Traditional and Contemporary Crafts.

This year’s show will showcase 30 new Exhibitors making their debut in Buckhorn, along with a number of favourite Artisans.

Among the many items that will be on display are candles, pottery, leather goods, gourmet foods, furniture, florals, wooden toys, children’s clothing, jewellery, designer clothing for the entire family, handmade soaps, blown glass and a wide variety of home décor items.

Also featured, will be items for your garden – stepping stones, birdhouses, garden sculptures and metalwork to enhance your flower beds, gardens and patios.

With a Gym, Banquet Room and 11 Pavilions to browse through, you are sure to find something for yourself, your home or as a gift for someone special.

In this day and age, when everything is mass manufactured, it is a pleasure to be able to find so many high quality, handmade and unique items under one roof.

The Craft Show is an annual fund raising event for the non-profit, Buckhorn Community Centre and is run by many Volunteers who build the exhibitor booths, man admission booths, park cars, direct traffic and serve in the Snack Bar.

The Show is open both Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. General Admission is $5, children 12 and under free. A Shuttle Bus runs from our upper parking lot to the Admission area.

Be sure to visit the BCC booth to receive your free bag or pen. Buy a ticket on a treasure filled deck box!

Your admission ticket gives you the opportunity to win a $100 Shopping Spree at the Buckhorn 2014 Harvest Craft Show on Thanksgiving weekend. Make sure you place your ticket in one of the Ballot Boxes at the show.

The Craft Show is wheelchair accessible and there is ample free parking available. The entire show is under cover, so regardless of the weather, you can browse in comfort. Refreshments are available.
