Men and womenís Roller Derby come to Douro

Area 705 Roller Derbyís final doubleheader of the season on Saturday, August 16 will feature a unique opportunity to see both full contact womenís and full contact menís derby with teams from across Ontario hosted at the Douro Community Centre. First the Area 705 Smooth Operators take on the Orangeville Fox Force Five in a full contact womenís bout. Second game features two menís teams battling it out and passing the panties with Torontoís Outrage butting up against Londonís Forest City Pack Men.

Doors open at 3:00 p.m., and skates hit the track at 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Admission is $10 for adult and kids under 10 are free. Tickets on sale at the door. Cash only at the door and there is no ATM on site. Food vendors will be on hand so be sure to bring some extra money for food and league merchandise. The Douro Arena is located at 2893 Highway 28 and County Rd. 4, just south of the four way stop.
