Mom2Mom Sale this Saturday at LDSS

For most parents, the end of August just doesnít symbolize the end of a Summer that was, but it also means Back to School Shopping

Come out to the Mom2Mom Super Sale (brought to you by Momís Closet) on Saturday, August 23 from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. in the gymnasium of Lakefield District Secondary School (71 Bridge St.) for deals on previously loved clothes.

All proceeds from the sale will go to support the Lakefield After School Program. The sale tables will be set up by size, gender, and categories. Come and find deals on all sizes and varieties of previously loved and new clothing. Adult sizes available. There will be up to 300 mom consignors and 30 vendors such as Pampered Chef, Arbonne, Jamberry, Thirty-one, and Avon.

Lakefield After School Program (ASP) operates through a partnership between St. Johnís Anglican Church and Lakefield Youth Unlimited (a satellite of Kawartha Youth for Christ). The ASP is for youth in Grades 2-8 and is held at St. Johns Anglican Church on Tuesday afternoons from 3:20 p.m.-5:00 p.m. starting in October and finishing late May. This Summer, ASP has been busy operating Day Campís at Lakefield District Intermediate School for over 30 youth. ASP has just completed a science themed week that had the youth making rockets, crystals, slime, bouncy balls, planets, and experimenting with dried ice.
